Dr Ivar Giaever, a Nobel Prize-winner for physics in 1973, has declared his dissent on man-made global warming claims. "I would say that basically global warming is a non-problem," he announced in a speech at a recent 65th Nobel Laureate Conference in LIndau, Germany. Giaever was one of President Obama's key scientific supporters in 2008. But seven years after being one of 70 Nobel Science laureates who endorsed Obama for the US presidency in 2008, he now mocks President Obama for warning that "no challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change." Giaever called it "a ridiculous statement."
